Compressor

A compressor is a device used to increase the pressure of gas or air. There are different types of compressors, including centrifugal compressors, screw compressors, reciprocating compressors and scroll compressors, which are used in different applications. Centrifugal compressors use the kinetic energy of a rotating disk to increase gas pressure. Screw compressors use screws to compress gas.

Reciprocating compressors use pistons that move inside the cylinders to compress the gas, while scroll compressors use scroll components to compress the gas. Compressors are often used in industry to generate air pressure to drive tools, machinery, temperature control systems, or to store compressed air for use in various applications. They are also used in air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems, as well as in gas production and processing processes.
